Into The Wild Film Review
Are you looking for a film that will take you away from world, into the dreams of living on the mountains, on your own? Then Into The Wild is a great choice for you. Just leave what you are doing right now and start watching it without further loss of time.
Into The Wild is a adventure and drama movie shot in 2007, in the USA and directed by the great director Sean Penn. The main stars of the movie is Emile Hirsch (Christopher McCandless), Marcia Gay Harden (Billie McCandless), William Hurt (Walt McCandless), Brian H. Dierker (Rainey), Catherine Keener (Jan Burres) and Kristen Stewart (Tracy Tatro).
The movie tells the story of the story of Christopher McCandless, who is graduated from Emory University as the top student and who is a very succesful athlete. After graduation, he decides to leave everything and start living Alaska. He leaves home without uttering a single word to his family and takes the road to Alaska. On the way, he meets many different people and he does what he wants and goes to Alaska, after a series very adventurous events.
The movie consists of four different chapters, which are about the adventures of Chris. The movie starts with Chris’ days in Alaska and by using flashbacks, in this way the movie attracts the attention of the moviegoers more.
The biggest strength of the movie is the qualitive stars, espacially Emile Hirsch. For the movie, I think, Emile Hirsch is the best choice for the main role. Emile Hirsch shines like a real star in the movie, with his dedication to the movie.
The second strength of the movie is Eddie Vedder’s great soundtracks. For all the different scenes, there is always a great soundtrack that gives the mood of the scene better. The soundtracks helps us to get in the mood for different scenes.
Last but not the least, eventhough Into The Wild is categorized as ‘drama, adventurous’ it is likely to laugh too while watching the movie. The movie has very humorous scenes that helps us to get in a happy mood while crying or being sad just a couple of minutes ago.
Even I liked the movie in general, there are some scenes that confuses me. At the beginning, after graduation, Chris meets his parents at a restaurant and he comes to the restaurant with a pretty girl. I’m sure that everyone, who watched the film, thought that the girl is Chris’ girlfriend but as the scene goes on, we understand that the girl is his sister. I think, it would be better if there weren’t any confusions.
There is no age restriction for the movie and everyone should watch Into The Wild and experience the feeling of crying and laughing in just one single minute.
